Hello! Happy Wednesday, and welcome to my stop on the Sister Sampler Quilts blog hop!
I was happy to review this terrific quilt book for Anne Marie Chany whom I met when I attended International Quilt Market in Portland a few years ago.
AnneMarie’s book, Sister Sampler Quilts: 3 Modern Sampler Quilts with Paired Sister Blocks is a terrific quilting book…here are some of the things you’ll find inside:
- 25 different interchangeable blocks in both 9″ and 12″ finished sizes.
- 3 sampler quilt settings
- Full-color photo tutorials on sewing a scant ¼″ seam, half square triangles, quarter square triangles, flying geese, curves, string blocks, binding and more.
I absolutely love the beautiful colors of the blocks along with the contemporary setting ideas. This book not only has terrific ideas to follow but also can provide the springboard for your own creativity.
Be sure to visit these other blogs for more information on the book…several of the bloggers have made their own versions of the Sister Sampler blocks which will provide even more inspiration for your quilt projects.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
