Sewcialites Quilt Block 30 (and more)

Hello, friends, and happy Friday! Today I’m sharing Sewcialites Quilt Block 30. You’ll also see block 29 from last week and one of my catch-up blocks, Block 8. I’m slowly but surely getting caught up–and most importantly for me I’m staying caught up with the current week’s blocks. I’m using our Happy Days fabric navy prints with tone on tone creamy backgrounds.

Sewcialites Quilt Block 30

This week’s block 30 is the Gratitude block designed by Camille Roskelley. It was fast and fun to make. I’m so grateful I was able to use the Mini Simple Folded Corners ruler for this block. It made it much easier–no lines to draw! I’m making the 3″ finished blocks, but this ruler will work for any of the sizes. Sewcialites Quilt Block 29

Last week’s Sewcialites Quilt Block 29 was the Delight block by Barb & Mary of Me & My Sister Designs. I used triangle paper for the tiny half-square triangles in my 3″ finished blocks.

Sewcialites Quilt Block 8

I’m trying to make a catch-up block each week as I sew my blocks so I don’t have a lot to catch up on at the end of the sew-along. This week I made the Soulful Block 8 block. I used the Mini Simple Folded Corners ruler and this Bloc Loc Flying geese ruler in making the Soulful block. (The tiny Bloc Loc rulers are so helpful for the small flying geese).
