Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 445: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a fun roundup of inspiration from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll find some ideas for your weekend and the week ahead.
I was out of town all week and got home last night ready to sew some of the fun projects I saw on my trip. I’ll share about my week in an upcoming post. I have a lot to catch up on after being away all week, so I hope I do get to my sewing machine this weekend!

Saturday Seven 445: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
I really liked this post on “gentle adulting.” I also enjoyed this post on decluttering (decluttering is definitely a self-care activity for me).
2. Recipes to Try
This Snow Pea Salad with Avocado looks so fresh and delicious for summer! this Strawberry Burrata Salad also looks amazing–I guess it’s time for summer salads! I also want to try this Sesame Ginger Salmon Bowl. And this Orange Vanilla Fruit Dip is a perfect addition for your summer get together.

3. Quilt + Sew
One of the projects I loved at this week’s Modavation event (more on that below) were these darling bows! Use Soft & Stable for your interfacing, and find the patterns linked below. (One pattern makes the large bow, and the other option contains the mini and micro bow designs).
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
I loved this recent podcast from Cal Newport relating to the use of AI and our business tasks. If you still need to plan your summer, this episode of Best Laid Plans will walk you through the process.

5. Modavation
I just returned home last evening from a week at the Modavation event in Dallas, Texas. This was a wonderful retreat event with classes and so much more for shop owners from all over the world. I’ll have a full blog post on this soon, but you can see a couple of photos above.
6. Summer Favorites
I recently restocked on my favorite hydration packs. These are so good and really help me on my walks in the summer heat. I’ve also been using these simple tags for baskets I use for storage. And I purchased a set of these storage bins for notions that I keep in my closet. They are a terrific “not too big” size for storing a variety of household items, too.
