Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 378: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post with a roundup of inspiration I’ve found from around the internet this week. Keep reading for ideas for your weekend and the week ahead.
Here at home, I’m in the sewing room today. I’ve got some things I’m hoping to get bound and photographed, and I’ve got a lot of fabric to move around and organize, too. I also hope to get just a little bit of sewing done! Next week we will be sharing some exciting new fabric, so I’m doing some behind the scenes work to get ready for that, too. Fun things are on the way 🙂

Saturday Seven 378: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
I loved this article on “How to Live a Creative Life: Simple Habits for Everyday Inspiration.” There is lots of food for thought in the article as well, and it made me appreciate my quilting life and all that it does for me. It was also good to read this piece on daily things that might be draining our energy.
2. Recipes to Try
I recently saw this on an Instagram Reel and can’t wait to try these Cream Fried Eggs! (I had never heard of them). Also, this Air Fryer Bang Bang Chicken looks so good! So glad I saw this Beef Stew recipe, too because that is what we are having tomorrow!
3. Quilt + Sew
I love Kimberly’s 25-Patch Scrap Quilt idea. And here is a post with my favorite quilting essentials–basics, notions, and organizing products. Also…just a hint–stay tuned for fun new A Quilting Life and Chelsi Stratton Designs patterns coming next week!
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
I loved the Tenth Anniversary Episode of the Happier Podcast with Gretchen Rubin. It was fun listening to their look back and also hearing their top ideas and hacks from over the years. I also loved the Greg McKeown Podcast episode 359: Rest More, Stress Less, and Live the Live You Actually Want with Courtney Carver. I enjoyed the eposide so much that I have Carver’s newest book (same title as the episode) on order.
5. Favorite Amazon Finds in February
These Sticky Tabs–see through and easily removable. A new favorite pen style–I love a good pen. This 2-pack of organizing trays–I’m going to use one in the refrigerator for healthy snack prep and the other one might end up in my sewing room! I learned about these magnetic ties when I was teaching two quilting classes last week. One of the students used these to keep her hexagon flowers together in her sewing basket–genius. And finally, this pencil sharpener is inexpensive and works wonderfully!
6. Organizing + Decorating
Here is a great post with ideas for organizing all kinds of household items. And here is a list of 25 Micro Decluttering Tasks to Do in Minutes. And finally, I loved this post with lots of farmhouse paint color ideas.
