Hello, friends! I hope the last weekend before Christmas is a wonderful one for you. I’m making last-minute Christmas gifts and even hope to do a little baking! Today’s Saturday Seven 369: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post is a round-up of inspiration I’ve found from around the internet this week on a variety of topics. I hope you’ll enjoy these ideas–I truly love putting these posts together each week.

Saturday Seven 369: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, here are some practical tips to try. I loved this post about putting your phone away on Christmas day. And finally, it’s not too late to have a “Mindful Holiday.”
2. Recipes to Try
First, this Christmas Citrus Green Bean Salad looks amazing! I’m also going to try this Creamy Mushroom Pasta. This Grinch Punch looks like so much fun for the younger set at a holiday party. And finally, these ideas for a Hot Cocoa Bar are so much fun!
3. Quilt + Sew
Here is a free pattern for a darling Christmas Bow Block (more Christmas blocks can be found from the same page). And I love these drawstring gift bags to use with cross stitch projects!
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
I have been loving all of the tips in this book and plan to start her room-by-room organizing program in January! And I’m loving Heirloom Rooms–a combination of beautiful home pictures and essays on making our homes a place to not only live in but also love.
5. New Year’s Goals
I’ve been working on goals for the new year–quilting, sewing, personal, and home goals. If you’re looking for ideas to get your quilting off to a terrific start next year, look here for all of my best tips. I also love this idea to read 25 books in 2025! I’ll have more helps for you on organizing soon!
6. Amazon December Favorites
These chocolates are my favorite–I was super happy to find them on Amazon after the manufacturer sold out for the season! And I’ve repurchased these facial cleaning cloths twice now–a staple for me. This cuticle oil has also been a game-changer. I rarely have any hangnails anymore–I use it nightly. And this cream works wonders for sore joints and muscles. Finally, we have three of these plugs and love the charging capability for different types of cords.

I’m so glad you linked to the bow block on The Polka Dot Chair’s website! It’s not just “some Christmas blocks,” but a Christmas sampler quilt sew-along she did. How fun to have another great quilter to follow! 🙂

When I receive an email and click on the link to watch the latest video…..after the ads I see an OLD video. I don’t understand. I clicked on December 28 and got July unfinished projects, tried again then got the December 21.
Very frustrating

I think it moves to another video if it thinks you aren’t watching–by clicking to enlarge full screen it should stay on the current video.
Everything is also on YouTube where it might be easier to watch. Thank you!
