Hello friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 357: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a round-up of inspiration from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll enjoy these ideas and that they help you have a wonderful weekend and week ahead. This weekend I’m going to be in my sewing room working on projects for our booth at International Quilt Market. Stay tuned as I share those smaller projects over the comint weeks.

Saturday Seven 357: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
I’m trying to decide on a year-long project for next year. I’m always inspired by Laura’s choices and feel like I could tie this into self-care. And I found this list of things to minimize, not organize helpful as I’m still working on home organizing on a weekly basis. Keeping things fresh and uncluttered is definitely self-care for me.
2. Recipes to Try
Mac & Cheese is definitely a favorite comfort food for me–I’m going to try this Butternut Squash version this week to try and make it a little more healthy. This Creamy Chicken Marsala also is on my list to try this week (although maybe not as healthy). And finally, not a recipe–but these Protein Shakes are my favorite. I usually have one after my walk in the morning and I’m full until lunch.
3. Quilt + Sew
Here is a great tutorial for a Quilt as You Go Table Runner. I’m already starting to get email requests for Christmas sewing…new posts are in the works. But these tried and true 15 Things to Make for Christmas will get you started. You will also love this round up of Christmas Quilt Patterns & Decorating Ideas if you’re already in the mood for Christmas.
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
“Reclaim Your Time” with Cal Newport has lots of practical ideas and applications. And this book/planner is arriving on December 31st. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy of The Essentialism Planner: A 90-Day Guide to Accomplishing More by Doing Less from Greg McKeown.
5. Laguna Sunrise Project Packages
I’m super excited to share that our Laguna Sunrise Project Packages are now available to order. These project packages will ship in October (next month) and include 12 fat quarters of the Laguna Sunrise collections, two quilt patterns (one from me and one from Chelsi), a notion, and one other fun item. Packages are limited in quantity and when sold out, there will not be any more available.
6. New & Notable Video
Last week I shared a video on YouTube that I didn’t get a chance to share here on the blog. Watch above for details on some fun Jelly Roll patterns, our new book with Fat Quarter Shop, and new favorite rotating cutting mat options.
