Hello friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 343: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post with a roundup of inspiring things I’ve found from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll find some ideas for your weekend and the week ahead!
First, a little bit about what’s going on here at home. I’ve finished four new projects using some upcoming fabric since I returned home from Dallas a couple of weeks ago: additionally, I’m starting another quilt with that same upcoming fabric collection. I’ve been sewing with the new fabrics for a few weeks now and absolutely love them. We’ll be able to share everything next month…stay tuned!

Saturday Seven 343: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
On of my favorite Self-Care rituals is to keep a weekly “done” list. It helps me realize that even on the weeks I felt like I struggled to get all of the things done I was able to finish things. This post walks you through “The Power of Tracking Your Wins.”
2. Recipes to Try
Not tried yet…but the reviews are wonderful! So, I’m definitely making this Bacon Jalapeno Popper Dip for our 4th of July get together. This Red, White and Blue Fruit Salad also looks like a (healthier) option for the same gathering. And definitely not healthy…but I hadn’t heard of this Tik Tok Candy Salad until I saw it on a blog.
3. Quilt + Sew
It’s month three of my friend Lissa’s Piece and Quilt Sew Along. And I’m ready to get sewing on this one now that I have some business trips behind me and am getting caught up on sewing! Find all of the details for this sew along here.
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
This week I loved Gretchen Rubin’s Design Your Summer episode. I also enjoyed the most recent episode from Cal Newport which focused on the subject of “time blocking.“
5. New Pattern Booklet: Berry Baskets + Berry Baskets Mini
I recently decided to remake one of my mini quilts in an upcoming fabric collection. That made me realize that the pattern needed to be updated. And…I realized that I could combine the full size and mini versions of the patterns into one new booklet. Watch the video above for all of the details on these two quilts. And find the new updated pattern that contains both at the link below. Watch for a new version of the mini coming next month!
6. Sew Sampler Liberty Box: Spoiler Alert
I’m super excited to be able to now share the contents of the 2024 Sew Sampler Liberty Box. Let me begin by saying that this is the best one yet! There were still boxes left when I wrote this post, so if you want one, hurry over to purchase now as I’m sure they will sell out quickly. I was absolutely thrilled with each item and especially excited to get the Sweet Land of Liberty Panel and five coordinating fat quarters included! I can’t wait to get it stitched into a seasonal wall hanging. Items included are:
