Hello and happy Saturday, friends! I hope you are healthy and well and able to take some time for yourself (and of course for quilting). I have some happy things to share today. Saturday Seven 126
1. Feed Your Spirit
This is a great article on taking care of ourselves during the time of crisis. Missing travel? This article has some great ideas on “5 Ways to Bring the Best of Travel to Your Daily Life.” Finally, here is a good article if you’re having trouble sleeping through all of the chaos in our world.
2. Quilt & Sew
These round fabric baskets are super cute! Get the free tutorial here. And Fat Quarter Shop just shared this fun Round-Up of DIY Mother’s Day Gifts. I also love this Free Zipper Pouch Tutorial from Fat Quarter Shop–it would make a great Mother’s Day gift as well. And here are 15 Easy & Free Quilt Patterns…you might find something fun in this group!
3. Recipes to Try
The girls at Our Best Bites have been having a Big Giant Cookie series. Find the Big Giant Peanut Butter Cookie recipe here and the Oatmeal/Oatmeal Chocolate Chip recipe here. I also found a nice collection of Dessert for Two recipes here…perfect if you just want to make a little something! And I’m also thinking of trying this Key Lime Pie recipe soon. 4. Spring Projects
Are you doing any spring projects these days? I feel like I should be doing a bit more, but I’m taking it easy and just giving myself an easy project each week. Since I haven’t been in the new sewing room very long (I last updated my progress here), this week I’ve finally started to hang things on the walls. It feels so good! I’ll share again soon. For now, you might enjoy this post on Tips for Keeping Your Sewing Table Organized and Clutter Free.
5. Let’s Get Organized
I have so many things I need to get when I’m able to get into a real store…someday, right! So I love this printable “Almost Out Of” list that you can separate by store. I’ll be organized when I can finally get out for some errands. Find the free printable here.
6. Bookshelf
I’m still finishing up books I’ve shared already, but I’m excited to have this one arrive early next week–Simply Living Well! The author has a very inspiring Instagram account I love, so I have high hopes for this one. I’ll update you after it arrives.

Sherri, I seem to have missed your April BOM, not the Moda one that you are participating in but your own that you typically pst the first week of the month. I read you faithfully every day but I recognize that this has been an unusual month.
