Hello, friends! Happy August! Today I’m stopping in to share all of the Raspberry Summer Coordinating Bella Solids. We’ve just recently shared the Raspberry Summer collection which will ship in February 2025 and already have received a lot of requests for details on the coordinating Bella Solids. Keep reading for the coordinates and a first look at a recent scrap quilt finish.

Raspberry Summer Coordinating Bella Solids
We’ve been so grateful for the lovely response to our upcoming Raspberry Summer collection. (Did I mention this is my favorite group we’ve ever designed?) Along with all of the sweet comments, I’ve also received several requests to share the Bella Solids information with you now. This is truly a lovely mix! I’ve got all of the colors pictured below with names and links to the exact Bella numbers.

A Scrap Quilt Finish
I’m also super excited to share some (unquilted) photos of another recent scrap quilt finish. As soon as I finished up my Blockheads 5 quilt, I decided to put all of the half-square triangle blocks I’ve been sewing together with a chain block for a larger quilt. This one is at the quilter’s now, and I can hardly wait to get it back. But above you’ll find a few pictures I snapped right before taking it over to be quilted. I also have a free PDF for you with the instructions for my alternate blocks and the layout.
Thanks so much for stopping by for today’s Raspberry Summer Coordinating Bella Solids plus a Scrap Quilt Finish!
Happy quilting!

I love all the information you like to share, I love the podcasts, I love your videos, but there are so many popups on your page, it is almost impossible to enjoy the content. I know you need the ads, but I wish there was a different way to do it. It is so annoying most of the time,I just give up and go and look at something else.

Beautiful fabrics. Congratulations on another great fabric line.

In your videos there is a quilt to your left with six sided blocks. Where can I get the pattern?
Lee Ann Guiette says
Did I miss a sew-along? When was this scrap quilt done? Or was it an impromptu quilt from left overs from the moda blockhead? It is beautiful .

I posted two free blocks a month each Friday from April through June…you can still get all of the free block layouts, or you can buy the Triangle Square Dance pattern in my shop and use one of those layouts or this new one. Thank you!
Catherine L Barnes says
Oooo, I have made all the triangle blocks and was looking for a way to set them. I think you hit it out of the park with this one. I probably can get two quilts out of this one with the 12″ chain block. Thanks, Sherri.

SCRAPPY HST SETTING
THE ASSEMBLY FOR ALTERNATE BLOCK
THE CUTTING MEASUREMENT FOR THE BLOCK HAS BEEN OMITED
ASSUME THE STRIP SET 1 IS CUT 41/2
STRIP SET 2 IS CUT 21/2
MAKES A 81/2 IN BLOCK

I updated the pattern with this information.

Thank you very much, Sherri. I have truly enjoyed making these darling blocks from my scraps. I do have a question regarding the instructions for the finishing blocks. What size are we to cut the 24 units from strip set 1 and the 48 units from strip set 2?
I am so looking forward to finishing this quilt.
Many thanks for all that you share with us.
Mary

That pattern has been updated with the sizes…thank you!

Many thanks!

I love this layout and quilt. Is it one fabrics line or truly scraps from many collections? Wondering if I should wait for Raspberry Summer or use my wide collection of yours!
Also I have searched but cannot find the block patterns. Somehow I missed the entire process and now want to grab them and get started.
Thanks for pointing me to the blocks.
I can’t wait for Raspberry summer. I love it.

It’s truly scraps from many collections. You can find the free block layout from the button underneath the quilt setting PDF. You can also purchase the blocks in the Triangle Square Dance pattern from my shop with two additional layouts included.
