Happy Monday! On Saturday I did some assembly-line quilted stocking sewing! I have a couple of mini patchwork stockings I made a couple of years ago that are favorites; I decided if I didn’t do the patchwork I could make a few for some quick gifts.
I actually made 5 new ones this weekend, but I already gifted one to my Mom who was here visiting and who helped me with some of the sewing!
Both of these stockings were made with Fig Tree fabrics. I kind of think the gingham one with the green cuff is my favorite. But I sure do love the polka dots, too!
And then I made a couple with some Sweetwater gingham for the stocking and some Minick & Simpson fabric for the cuffs. All of the hangers are Fig Tree polka dots.
Here are my original stockings with the pattern in case you want to look for it. I was thinking they are just the absolute perfect size: they are big enough for candy or a small gift, and they are also a great size for decorating.
I made another patchwork stocking on Saturday, too. This one is for the newest member of our family…and her mom requested some pink…I used Kate Spain Christmas fabrics from several different collections and added in Bonnie and Camille fabrics. The pinks were just perfect!
I used a Thimbleblossoms pattern for my stocking shape…but I used the Cluck Cluck Sew Christmas Stocking tutorial for assembling my stocking.
I used Kate Spain fabric for the backing…and DaySail white on white for the cuff.
And…I have some extra patchwork squares left over for another project. I just need to add in a few more aqua pieces and then I can make something else on my list!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend…thanks so much for stopping by!

Each year I plan to make some stocking … and each year this project stays on my to-do-list. But there's still time and hope;-)

I love all of the stockings you made! And I have every single fabric you used in my stash too except for one (the green backing), so maybe I need to be getting those patterns. 🙂
