Hello, friends, and happy Monday! Today I’m super excited to finally be sharing a video Patchwork Project Bag Tutorial with you. We filmed this about a month ago and are so happy to be releasing it in time for some last-minute Christmas (or first project after the holiday) sewing. You’ll definitely want to watch the video for this one because I share some very helpful tips for putting this together. I’m also super happy that I now have two of these favorite bags to use! Keep reading for more details and materials required for these bags from my book A Quilting Life Home & Hearth: Quilts and More to Cozy Up Your Decor.
Patchwork Project Bag Tutorial
The pattern for the Patchwork Project Bag is included in my Home & Hearth: Quilts and More to Cozy Up Your Decor book (find more details on the projects included in the book here). This super versatile project bag finishes at 10 ½″ x 11 ½″ and features a see-through vinyl front, a quilted backing, carrying/hanging handle, and curved edges. This bag is perfect for carrying and storing small handwork projects, notions and tools, and even make-up, beauty, and toiletry items. It would also make a great coloring crayon and coloring pencil/marker case for any budding artists. There are lots of uses for this terrific bag. I’m using mine to carry English Paper Piecing projects for now.

You’ll find all of the materials and cutting instructions on page 63 of the book. And I’ve included a couple of options for finding the book and direct links to the other products and notions in the list below.
