I finally put the border on my quilt, “A Quilter’s Journey” designed by Leanne Beasley. I’m not sure why it took me so long–I actually finished this quilt at the end of May. I’m still trying to decide whether or not to hand quilt this one; it’s not a really big quilt, so I just might tackle the hand-quilting in January.
I finished the October block from Lynette Anderson…just in time, since the November one should be coming out soon. I love these little blocks; the animals have such fun “personalities!”
Since I was in the stitching mode, I started on some little Christmas stitcheries. They will be made into the cutest little Christmas bags–I can’t wait to get them finished!

Sherri, I love the quilt. It has so many different “looks” in it. Very nice. I can’t wait to come over tomorrow!
Your Quilter’s Journey is just wonderful…oh and the basket (I must try one of those) and the bag…I love it, but it has a zipper and that just scares me to death. What a nice treat for a friend.
Wow – lovely, Sherri! You have had so many finishes!!! I love the redwork especially!
Wow…hand quilting! I am impressed! I really need to try putting in a zipper….next time you do, call me so I can watch!
Congratulations on your finishes…both big and small… ;o)
I would definetly go for handquilting on Leannes…I did on both of mine and I just love how it matches with all the stitcheries… :o)
Hmmm…this bag pops up at so many blogs… love your colourchoice of it…maybe I have to get a go on this one… ;o)
Wow, your quilt is gorgeous, I love it!!
The stitcheries you’ve done for your Christmas bags are great too … I’m about to start some of those myself :o).
The little zipper bag and basket are so cute :o)
Beautiful work! I especially like the little birdie embroidery!
Hi, I love it all. Your friend is very lucky.
Perhaps you can call me too and I’ll join Dawn watching you put a zip in, you may have to wait for me as it’s a long flight!
Definitely a charming quilt! Those little redwork blocks are so cute.
wow them are realy pretty
Wonderful treats for a friend. And, the Christmas stitcheries are oh so cute.
I love your “Quilter’s Journey” quilt. I finished mine last year and it’s still in the ‘need to be quilted’ pile. I’ve been thinking about starting “Leanne’s House” soon.
