Happy Wednesday! As I mentioned yesterday, I’m sharing some more gifts perfect for giving to friends (or for making for yourself). I have a couple more projects I’m working on that I’ll share later this week…but for today, here are some of my favorite gifts I’ve made over the past few years.
First up is the Divided Basket by Noodlehead. I’ve made several of these now (I kept the one on the left, below, so I finally have one myself)! This is a terrific pattern that is great for any room of the house and for limitless uses!
Although I often give these for shower gifts, I keep mine in my sewing room!
A couple of summers ago I made two of these Two-Zip Hipster Bags and used them like crazy! They were terrific for traveling because they were “not too big” and “not too small.”
For your sewing friends, how about this Binding Kit by Lella Boutique. I love mine–perfect for when you’re taking along some binding on a trip!
And then there is the Stash and Dash Fold Over Organizer (I actually have to make a couple of these sometime soon: one for myself because I keep giving them away…and another for my older daughter who wants one for her diaper bag). Again…this is one of those patterns that is really versatile…it can be used for sewing supplies, makeup, jewelry, and for travel.
Another favorite is the Catch-All Caddy. While this pattern was created for sewing supplies…it’s another one of those patterns that can be used for anything…anywhere!
A few years ago I made these curling iron/straightener cases from the Travel Essentials pattern (there is also a terrific travel organizer case included in this pattern). My daughters and I absolutely love them. I gave one to a sister-in-law who loves it as well. These cases are padded with Soft & Stable and allow you to put your hot curling iron in without worry (isn’t the curling iron the last thing you want to pack when leaving on a trip?)! This would be a terrific present for a tween or teenage girl, too…it’s often hard to find something to make for girls that age.
The Sew Together Bag is another fun idea for gifting! I love making mine with Soft & Stable as it gives them just an added bit of stability.
While looking through my files I found more Quick Zip Cases like the ones I shared yesterday.
And finally…I love my iPad case using the iCase pattern. The pattern is sized for regular and mini iPads…I’ve made both sizes…again…Soft & Stable is the key to getting such a great finish for this case!
I hope this round-up ideas is useful…thanks so much for stopping by!

Love all the bags and cases and pouches! The only bad thing is that they always end up at someone else place and I still need some for me;-)
