Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing Moda Blockheads 6 Block 10. This week’s block comes to us from Janet Clare and is called What a Lark! This gorgeous block lends itself to many different fabrics and color placements–it’s definitely one that can be equally striking whether pieced from a few fabrics or from a scrappy assortment. Keep reading for all of the details.

Block 10 Details
This week’s block had four units identical to last week’s block. But the blocks have different centers, and this week’s block has half-square triangles in the corner units. It’s fun to see how differently these two layouts look even having the same side and center top and bottom blocks. I used Raspberry Summer fabrics along with the tone-on-tone background fabric from Laguna Sunrise. While I used the same fabric for my half-square triangles, I really think this would be super fun to make scrappy!
