Hello and happy Friday! I am so, so excited today to share a new pattern that I just finished up last night! A couple of weeks ago I started thinking it would be really fun to do a mini version of one of my favorite The Front Porch fabric quilts…
And so I got to sewing…sent it off for quilting…and literally started sewing the
binding on within minutes of getting it back in the mail! So, today I’m happy to introduce my new Lattice Mini Quilt pattern! I’m not sure why I didn’t think of doing this one last summer when I made the original Lattice quilt, but I’m sure happy I finished it up in time for International Quilt Market next week!
I used five different low-volume prints for the backgrounds of the corner and center blocks and the tone on tone lattice print for the background of all of the rest of the blocks.
I really love the green lattice background in the center block…and notice how the orange peels ended up perfectly centered in the middle of the center block. My lovely small orange peel quilting was done by my friend Kaitlyn of Knot & Thread.
The tiny churn dash blocks are most definitely my favorite–they’re just so cute! You can use scraps or charm squares for the blocks–you’ll just need two matching charm squares for the corner and center blocks, and one charm square for each of the other blocks.
The Lattice Mini patterns are available in my Etsy shop now…in both paper and PDF versions. (Get it free if you purchase any two other patterns in the shop–just leave a comment on your order. I’ll ship the paper pattern with your paper pattern purchase, or I’ll email the PDF if you leave your email address in the comment and you’ve purchased PDF patterns).
Thanks so much for stopping by!
