It’s been a little while since I worked on this quilt. I had so much fun making the scrappy star blocks, setting them together, and picking out a binding fabric. But this little topper has just been sitting. I found it the other day while cleaning up in the studio and wondered why I had never finished it…then I realized it was just not finished.
I decided I really wanted it bigger…so back to the scrap bin I went! I finished up three more stars pretty quickly. The quilt ihas16 blocks now…I’m pretty sure it needs to have 25…then maybe I can finish it! Do you have any projects like this…ones that sit around unfinished…just because they really aren’t finished?!
Also congratulations to Anna who won the books from my giveaway and to Sarah who won the fabric! I’m sending e-mails to both of you! Be back soon with my Blogiversary Giveaway #2!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I have SO MANY unfinished projects that I've made a decision to not start anything new until I get at least 4 finished! I have finished 3 of the 4 and it feels so good that I think I'm going to do another 4. I'm putting my UFO projects on my blog too. I love your quilt! It is awesome! Do you do your own quilting? Thanks for the great photos! Cheery wave from Bev

You have pricked my conscience. I have several works in progress,(where i know where i am going) but i see a difference between those and a couple that are just sitting waiting for the final inspiration. I must do something about those.

I have quite a few projects which are hibernating. One is a panel my husband bought of lighthouses when we were in the states for out 25th wedding aniversary. Just clocked up 37 years. It has been hand quilted and unpicked 4 times. I am not a printed pannel person and it just never looks right.

This is stunning now so I can't imagine how gorgeous it's going to be when it's bigger. It looks great and all those points are pointy. Wouldn't expect anything less from you. From me? Well not so pointy points but I'm getting there.

It is really pretty! Something to be said about DS fabric.
I have a three drawer cabinet full of clothes cut out and waiting to be sewn, maybe for five to nine years !! I'm going to get to it one of these days! Of course they may not fit when sewn!
