When my friends at Fat Quarter Shop asked if I’d like to participate in the Jelly Roll Jam II blog tour I immediately agreed. I made a couple of baby quilts from the first Jelly Roll Jam pattern and was curious to see what this one would be like.
Of course this pattern is just as fun as the first one was, and it is a snap to put together. Just 20 jelly roll strips makes an adorable baby quilt, and you can use the extra strips for another quilt top, for a scrappy binding, or even for a pieced back for this quilt!
I used Moda Snuggles fabric in cream for my backing. It’s incredibly soft–I think you can almost feel the soft in this photo. Now I need to make a quilt for me with this backing!
I used the red flowers on pink from Vintage Modern for my binding…the pink coordinated perfectly with my fabrics from Miss Kate. To find the free pattern for the Jelly Roll Jam II Quilt go here. And to watch the Jelly Roll Jam II video go here!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Looks great, So if you used the whole jelly roll, you could make a bigger quilt?? Love the snuggles on the backing, that is my favourite way to back a quilt

Simple but really effective pattern. Am in process of making two of the Jelly Roll Jam quilts so will also put this one on my to-do list. Was wondering if you put any wadding in with the Moda snuggles as backing or would it quilt up OK without wadding?

This is gorgeous! I love the idea of the snuggles backing, but am wondering the same thing as Jan, did you use any batting? Thank you!
