Yes, Christmas. I’m finally getting to some things that have been on the list a very long time! I’ve had so much fun sewing with some of my older Christmas scraps this week!
I was able to make a stocking for a foreign exchange student staying with a friend’s family this year. I delivered it as soon as the last stitch was sewn, and I’m pretty sure it will be well-loved this year and for years to come!
While I was making the stocking I also cut fabric for a fun little Christmas banner, so yes, it’s starting to feel and look like Christmas here.
Thanks so much for the wonderful ideas in the comments of my Sew, Mama Sew giveaway post…there is still lots of time to enter. And speaking of giveaways, the winner for the Canton Village Quilt Works giveaway is Talin’s Corner. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cute projects! One of these days, I hope to find time to make a garland/banner with some favorite fabrics. They seem to be popping up all over blogland these days.
