Hello and happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating this celebration of the harvest and ode to gratitude! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because for me it really is just about family and friends and remembering to be grateful for our many blessings.
I can’t remember being any more excited for the holidays than I am this
year…perhaps with everything that has happened in our world as of late we are all in need of some true cheer and thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving will be small this year as our daughters will both be celebrating with their in-laws, but we will be able to have everyone together at Christmas next month. And small is good, too–although we will have plenty of food if we happen to have any extra friends or family able to come!
I’m especially grateful for the kindness and support of those of you who read this blog and send such kind words and comments my way. I spend many hours each week planning, taking photos, and writing posts in an effort to present great content and inspiration for my readers…just as so many others have inspired me over the years. The goal for my blog has always been to record my projects and to give back to this wonderful community of quilters. I’m truly thankful for your friendship!
Happy Thanksgiving…and of course I hope you find a little time to quilt this weekend, too!
