I just have a little bit of this and that to share today…I’ve sewed a little and had some very good mail days this week! First up is block 5 of the Fat Quarter Shop 2013 Designer Mystery Block of the Month. This block was designed by Vanessa and was a lot of fun to put together. Note to self: I think tiny stars are one of my favorite blocks, and they are even better when paired with bigger stars!
My Moda Bella solids quilt arrived back from Natalia, too. I’m binding this today (as soon as I can make a decision about what color to bind it in. I’m leaning towards aqua, but grey is also on the table).
And speaking of binding…I got one of my new pattern release quilts bound last evening…I’ll be sharing my two new patterns soon.
And speaking of new patterns…I can finally share a quilt I made last month for Lori. She shares gorgeous pictures of this quilt I pieced for her on her blog here. It was a simple quilt to piece, especially since Lori had done all of the cutting for me!
And here is some of my Scrumptious mail this week…some yummy yardage of two of my favorite basics from that collection. I think these will make perfect bindings…My friend Stefanie has yardage of these prints along with the orange bias stripe print in her shop!
And…congratulations to BillieBee who is the winner of the Southern Fabric Giveaway from last weekend!
Thanks so very much for stopping by…Happy Friday!

Beautiful star block – but check your opposite corners as I think you have things turned.

Wow! You are so busy, wish I could keep up. Time seems to fly too fast with me. Happy stitching, can't wait to see what you produce next.

I'm just checking in. I don't leave comments often but I did want to tell you I still come here to see your header. It just brings back the warmest memories for me. I'm always afraid that it will be gone and I'm quite sure you'll change it at some point but I can never get tired of it. But that is not all I come here to see. I love your quilts, your ideas, your fabric choices and your blog. Maybe not all four all the time but there is always something here to spark my creativity. Thanks for all the time you take to post. I always leave reluctantly knowing I'll be back soon (most days!).

I love the star block. All of mine are gathered in a box and waiting for me to get to them.
Vroom's quilts, where is her block turned? I'm not seeing it, but it has been a long day here and I am tired. It looked fabulous to me.

Love your star block. Haven't sewn mine yet. I don't get comment number 1 ?! What am I missing when I look at your block?
Tania says
Lovely stitching as always Sherri, I love the star block, and your Bella Solids quilt is beautiful.

This block is maybe the prettiest block I've ever seen. The pattern, the fabric- I love it all. HOW can I get my hands on the block pattern!?
I don't see what comment no. 1 meant?
