Hello and happy Friday! Welcome to another edition of favorites where I share favorite fabrics, books, patterns, and notions in the world of quilting! This week I have some really fun things to share…starting with one of my favorite new collections, Ann’s Arbor by Minick & Simpson.
You can see from the photo above that I like this collection so much that I’ve
ordered doubles on some of the prints! (I’ve already sewn this quilt with these fabrics and will definitely be sewing more projects with them).
This new pattern, “On the Plus Side” by Minick & Simpson is calling my name…just need to decide on fabric choices for it!
And I highly recommend this Daylight Smart R10 Rechargeable Desk Lamp, White. Not only does it give terrific light, but it also is rechargeable. I haven’t had to charge it yet, and I’ve been using it every time I sew for several days. It has a USP port as well, so it’s easy to recharge. While I’m using this at home, I’ll definitely be taking it to classes and retreats.
Finally…I’ve been browsing through The Big Book of Civil War Quilts: 58 Patterns for Reproduction-Fabric Lovers and really love this book. While the quilts are all made with reproduction fabrics, the patterns are timeless, and so many of them would be beautiful in any selection or style of fabric. Additionally, there are lots of great ideas for scrap quilts in this book…
Thanks so much for stopping by for today’s round-up of favorites…have a wonderful weekend, and happy quilting!
