Happy Friday! Hope you are having a great week…and looking forward to the weekend! We are sure having a beautiful spring here in southern Nevada and might even be able to get some rain this weekend. I plan on doing a lot of sewing!
My friend Joanna at Fig Tree & Company is having a Frivol Friday today…
her Strawberry Fields Frivol is just about the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. Frivols are small quilt kits packaged in an adorable tin. They come with fun things inside, too. The Strawberry Fields Frivol has two quilt labels, a full-color pattern card, and of course the Strawberry Fields fabric you see pictured.
To make things even more fun…Joanna is having a Frivol giveaway…go to her blog to enter!
Although most of my recent sewing has to stay under wraps for a few more weeks (I’m hoping to share some sneak peeks very soon), I have been doing a few projects on the side I can share. In an effort to sew with my scraps, I’ve been making little blocks using my 2 ½″ squares.
These 6″ finished 9-patch blocks have been a lot of fun to make. I’m getting quite a collection of them!
I also have two more Splendid Sampler blocks cut out and ready to sew…I’ll be sharing those soon as well!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
PS Craftsy is having a supplies sale through the weekend. Go here to find kits and supplies discounted at least 40% off through Sunday!

Already entered the giveaway:-)
I think your little 9-patches would look great paired with your Splendid blocks, don't you? I need to make the newest one tonight and work on my Village. Have a wonderful weekend!

I love these little blocks. I have so many scraps I could make a house cozy.
One day I will bust out those scraps and turn them into 2 1/2 blocks and strips
Thanks for telling everyone about the give away
