Hello, and welcome to the third month of the Blogger Girl’s Block of the Month featuring designs put together by my friend Monique! I absolutely love every quilt-along Monique does, and this one has been especially fun since I’m making my very first red and green quilt using Fig Tree fabrics from my scrap bin.
The free downloadable block patterns can be found on Monique’s blog. You’ll be able to download instructions to make two versions of the same block. It’s always fun to see how the blocks are composed of the same parts and pieces and yet turn out completely different.
I can never decide which version I love more. I just know that I love these blocks. It’s fun to sew 6″ finished blocks because they are just so cute!
We are half-way through with this quilt…6 blocks down with 6 more blocks to go!
