It’s no secret that I love all things Moda…and as usual, the Moda booth and new designer fabrics did not disappoint.
Here is one of the new quilts by Brigitte Heitland of Zen Chic using her new collection Barcelona.
And here are a few other new Barcelona quilts. The Barcelona collection is stunning. Brigitte spoke during the Moda Designer Schoolhouse, and her thoughts on quilting and sharing our talents with others were very inspirational.
The French General collection is always beautiful, and Josephine does not disappoint. I was able to get a mini-charm pack of this and will share it soon.
I got a chance to catch up and say hi to Pat Sloan in front of her Bits and Bobbins collection which is delightful (and has a wonderful text print, too). Pat is genuinely nice!
And here is Vanessa of V&Co. I love her new collection Simply Style. I can’t wait to get sewing with it!
Here is a little of Sandy Klop’s Potluck display…now that she has reprinted the ruler fabric I can use the fat quarter I’d been hoarding saving all these years! Or maybe I need to now hoard the old and the new…either way…I’m going to buy some yardage of that print this time around!
I love, love, love Minick & Simpson’s Mid-Winter Reds. I’m finally going to make a red and white quilt using this collection
And here are the sisters of Me & My Sister…seriously, these two are the nicest! And their new collection, Giggles, is bright and cheerful!
Here is Lissa Alexander of Moda…she is amazing! She not only inspires everyone around her but also is a great friend. We are standing in front of the two quilts I pieced for Camille for this market…Fireworks and Summer!
I probably should have moved this photo up closer to Sandy’s Potluck picture…this is a quilt with her fabric that was in the Moda booth. I love this line!
And finally…another shot of the Moda leaves. Each of the four sides of the Moda rep section had a different colorway of leaves. I mentioned earlier that there were 19,123 leaves total–and they were truly stunning.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Those reds are wonderful. I can see why you would want to make a quilt using them.

Those leaves were amazing and Moda was undoubtedly the busiest fabric company at market.

I can't wait for Simply Style to come out. I have Simply Color and have been using it for a variety of small projects. Have not chosen a quilt pattern yet for a larger quilt. I like "Fireworks" but have not purchased it yet.

Love love love the quilts you pieced for Camille! I have been eyeing fireworks. I have been searching for a quilt pattern to piece my moda "urban cowgirl" fat quarter bundle. How labor intensive was each block? I also have been checking out swoon. Oh the choices… Any advice?
