Hello, friends! Today I’m excited to share about the A Quilting Life Patreon Community which has just launched. Keep reading to find out more about this new group where you can join in for free patterns, a monthly zoom meeting and early access to content and announcements.
A Quilting Life Patreon Community
Over the past couple of years, I’ve received several emails from those who are interested in more A Quilting Life content especially as it relates to organizing their quilting lives along with early access to patterns and more. After joining a Patreon community hosted by a favorite author and podcaster, I realized this platform might be the perfect way to address some of these requests for my own community.
Quilting Life Patreon Membership
I’m not a huge fan of Facebook due to all of the distractions, and so I’m super hopeful that Patreon will be the perfect place to host a smaller A Quilting Life community. This is a membership platform; however, I feel like it will definitely be a good value.
- Each month, community members will receive a free small project pattern pdf. These patterns will also be available for sale in my Etsy shop but will release first (and for free) to my Patreon subscribers.
- I will also host a monthly hour-long Zoom meeting with a focus topic for members. The dates and times for this meeting will vary, but the recording will also be available for those who want to log in and watch at a later time. In the beginning, topics will range from scrap management, organization, and time-management for quilters. It will also be fun to adjust the topics as community members provide feedback.
- Finally, community members will get first access to new patterns and will also be the first to know about limited edition scrap bags and bundles.
- The Patreon platform will bill you upon sign up and then monthly at the beginning of each month. It has been super easy for me with the group that recently joined.
- You’ll get short email notifications when I post something on Patreon. And you can access Patreon on your chosen device on the web or through the Patreon app.
- To join the A Quilting Life Patreon Community, go here (or click the button below).
Sign Up Patterns
By joining now, you’ll get immediate access to two recent Quilting Life PDF patterns (above)–my Tumblers Table Runner and my Mini Snowballs Table Topper. On February 2nd the February PDF will also be available. Since Patreon will bill you upon sign up and then once again at the beginning of each month, you might want to wait to join until February first if you already have the January patterns 🙂
February in the A Quilting Life Community
I already have the February pattern finished up and ready to go. And I have some fun ideas to get the community started. I’m looking forward to this new adventure.
Finally, blogging here, podcasts, and videos on the YouTube channel will remain on the same schedule. This new platform will be in addition to our current community and geared towards a smaller audience.
Happy quilting, and thanks so much for stopping by to learn more about the new A Quilting Life Patreon Community!

I think Patreon is a great platform for this. I support a geographer / weather forecaster (HurricaneTrack) who I rely upon heavily during hurricane season. It has been a fruitful relationship and I have seen his membership grow substantially over the years. I hope you find this platform beneficial as well. I also follow Mary Fons (Marianne Fons’ daughter) on Twitch. She has a Discord channel where we can all chat and comment on various subjects. The HurricaneTrack guy also is on Discord. This is something you may want to consider down the road for your Patreon members.

I am not for this type viewing. Too much like social media, which I am not a member. Will you be continuing the present platform through our email address at no charge.
