Most Read in May 2026
Below you’ll find my top five most read posts this month. Since I just recently published the Summer Quilting and Sewing Goals post, I was surprised to see it made the top three–I guess a lot of quilters are now busy planning their summer sewing!

Made in May 2026
I really haven’t finished up too many projects this month. The one big exception is the Stitch & Stash Tote pictured above that I started on May 1st and finished on May 2nd just in time to take it to the H + H Americas show! While I already had the bag fabric/lining/Soft & Stable quilted, I really was able to make this bag in pretty short order!
I finished a secret mini and wall hanging project just yesterday and also finished up the binding for a magazine quilt coming in the fall. Additionally, I have been working on getting caught up with Sewcialites and Block of the Month blocks. Plus…there will be a new Moda Blockheads Sew Along beginning in the fall that I’m starting to work on now. I’m also starting some small projects this final week of the month that hopefully will be finished and ready to share early in June.

5 Things I’m Loving Right Now
Here are my most recent favorite things!
- First…I am loving the fact that it’s still in the 70’s and 80’s each morning when I take my daily walk! I’ve even been lucky enough to have a few days in the 60’s. This is unusually cool even for early mornings here in May, so I’m very grateful!
- I have a hard copy now of one of my favorite time management books, Big Time: A Simple Path to Time Abundance! I was grateful to get an advance digital copy to read before my interview with author Laura Vanderkam, but I’m definitely a traditional book kind of girl!
- I know it’s basically summer, but I’m wearing these Super Soft Fleece Pants just about every day! They fit true to size, are incredible comfortable and soft, and are also stylish enough to wear out of the house! I have them in three colors now (save even more when you buy two pair).
- I can never have too many of these bins. They are just the right size for storing so many things around the house.
- I’m currently reading (and very much enjoying) Inside the Box: How Constraints Make us Better.
