Happy Monday…It’s been a little of this and a little of that around here as I try to finish up the last minute gifts and preparations for the holidays. On Friday my No Bake Jolly Bar quilt arrived in the mail, and I couldn’t wait to get started on the binding. This isn’t actually a Christmas present, but it was too cute not to get started finishing it!
Plus, it’s perfect quilt binding weather as we’ve been having some cool temps!
My friend Michelle did the quilting for me, and used a cute pattern called “Mellow Yellow.” I thought it was the perfect pattern for this quilt because of all of the big spaces with just background fabric. The cute flowers in the quilting add so much to this quilt!
I decided on a mint green stripe that was from the Scrumptious fabric collection by Bonnie & Camille (all of the quilt fabrics are from Hello Darling, and the tone on tone background is from DaySail).
The backing is that cute strawberry print on mint from Hello Darling…
It’s all machine sewn…ready for hand stitching!
If you’re still doing some last minute shopping (for someone else or for yourself)…Craftsy has all classes discounted up to 50% off through December 26th…it’s the perfect time to take a class if you have one you’ve been thinking about.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Beautiful quilt Sherri! I love the quilting on it too: pretty fun to see that pattern. I've got one quilt top done as of tonight and have one to start and finish (I'll be at my husband's shop most of tomorrow so I can sew where my daughter wont' see, and a quilt top to finish up: just needs rows to sew together, for my husband. Nothing like a deadline to make me sew fast!! 🙂 Have a wonderful Christmas!! Hugs, Helen
