Last year for a yearly retreat I attend I made pincushions for each retreater. They were shaped like strawberrys. This year I made a little sewing bag with sewing related fabrics. I always know my quilting friends will love the gifts I make them!

Your work is beautiful and I enjoy seeing your photos. My favorite gift is to make a matching kitchen set….placemats, table runner, potholder, coasters, hot pads, and sometimes even matching window valances. (Of course, none of that is original, so I’m guessing it won’t give you any good ideas, but that’s what I like to do and the recipients always like it, too.)
Janice says
I love the turkey pillow and the table runner is beautiful. I am constantly knitting dishclothes so I always have a good supply on hand for giving away. I also like to make placemats and hot pads for gift giving.
