Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing My Favorite Blog Posts 2025 edition. I shared a post like this last year for the first time and really had a good time looking back and remembering some of my thoughts and posts from the year.
I love writing about my quilting life, and 2025 was an especially good year for me as I was able to put some of the resources here on the blog into formats easier to find for readers. And while I didn’t accomplish all of my goals, looking back has motivated me to put some of my 2025 goals back on the list for 2026. Keep reading for all of the details.
My Favorite Blog Posts 2025
Planning and Organizing for Quilters
It’s no secret that I love planning and organizing–even when I don’t always accomplish everything I set out to do. I think I’d be pretty lost without a plan in place most of the time. Early in 2025 I wrote a post on planning and organizing for quilters with lots of helpful ideas, a video, and a free printable for works in progress and goals.
My 2025 Scrap Quilting Plans
I love scrap quilts and had big goals at the beginning of the year. While I didn’t accomplish all of them. I did finish the most important one and also made some good progress on a couple of other scrap projects.
Free Small Quilt and Sewing Projects
As I mentioned above, I’ve also been trying to make the resources here on my site easier to find and navigate. So, I was super excited to finally write a roundup with links to most of the free small quilt and sewing projects available here.

A Quilting Life Monthly Favorites + Bookshelf Posts
There are two other categories of posts I love to write” are: my monthly favorites where I share most-read posts, finishes, and things I’m loving at the time (sometimes I just get to these quarterly). And my bookshelf posts where I share recently finished books (mostly non-quilting related). I’ve actually finished a few books over the past couple of months and will be adding a bookshelf post soon.
