Hello, friends! It’s been about a month since I returned home from International Quilt Market Fall 2025 in Houston, Texas. This was a special market as Moda was celebrating their 50th anniversary as a company. It was exciting to be a part of the incredible celebration of a company at the forefront of the quilting world. Keep reading for my thoughts about the show.

International Quilt Market Fall 2025
Set-up Day and Schoolhouse
Set-up day is the day we get our booth ready for the show. This year we also participated in a Schoolhouse session (like a mini-lecture) where we were able to showcase our Poinsettia & Pear fabric collection and also our new quilts and patterns. We had a room full of amazing attendees and enjoyed presenting our fabric and quilts–and sharing several giveaways with the audience.
We were extra busy this year on set-up day as we also filmed a few videos for the Moda YouTube channel. These videos will release when our collection arrives in shops in the spring of 2026.

Poinsettia & Pear Booth
We had a fun time filling our booth spaces with quilts and small projects galore. I was grateful to have had help from my friend Nancy Lane and also from Katie Nolan who both shared their beautiful work with our fabrics and designs. Our booths (Chelsi had her own space right across from mine) were once again in the Moda Designer area lending to lots of conversation with other designers and customers attending the show.
More Market Events
Our main extracurricular activities at International Quilt Market are lunches and dinners. (These are often business meetings, too, where we are able to plan for future groups and events). We also have scheduled meetings with our design team and others from the company. This year we also made sure to visit the pool and hot tub in the hotel each evening. It was a relaxing way to end each day.
The top event of Quilt Market this year had to have been the 50th Anniversary drone show celebration. Individuals all around the area oohed and aahed at the incredible show. It was extra special for all of the Moda family and customers who realized the significance of each part of the presentation.

Thanks so much for stopping by for today’s post. I’ll be back soon with photos from all of the Moda booths and my final thoughts on this year’s event.
Happy quilting!
