Crossroads Quilt Along Update

Hello and happy Monday! Today is Crossroads Quilt Along day, and I'm happy to report that I've been able to put my blocks together with the sashing and post sections.

I always get the best feeling when a collection of blocks becomes a quilt center!

And I'm just in love with the chain blocks...to have some of my favorites in the mix makes it extra special--I love house blocks! Today's pattern release gives you all of the information you need for completing the quilt top: setting, sashing, and border instructions are all included.

I spent one day making my border half-square triangles, another day cutting and piecing the sashing and posts, another day putting the quilt center together, and plan to spend one more day adding borders.

Be sure to go here to download today's free pattern for setting the Crossroads blocks together!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love your quilt and how the blue sashing just pulls all the other colors together. I hope to sew mine together soon. I just made a baby-size one :)!

Your quilt is exquisite! The color combinations are wonderful. I especially love the soft turquoise and also the yellow. Are all your fabrics from one brand or several. For some reason, I am in love with soft colors, even in the winter when everything is so drab. Again, it's gorgeous so far. Am looking forward to seeing the finished product.

It's beautiful Sherri! And I'm so far behind on it! It doesn't help that my hubby's business is busiest in the summer and that's when I have to go in and help him, along w/ the regular business/ bookwork, housework, etc, etc. Complaining done: I really need to get going on this one, because it really is a gorgeous quilt! Do you have any ideas yet on how you're going to have it quilted? Hugs, H
