About a month ago I made a fun hexie pillow using Lori's "Hexie Half" ruler sized for charm packs. You can find the tutorial to make your own version of this pillow here.
I thought it would be fun to have a little parade of a few other pillows made using my tutorial and Lori's rulers, so I asked three of my friends if they could make pillows to share! First up is my friend Debbie Taylor's (Of It's Sew Emma Patterns and Fat Quarter Shop) gorgeous 2wenty Thr3e version--I seriously think I'm going to have to make one just like this!
My friend Nedra also made a fun version of the pillow, making it rectangular. I love this! Nedra used the collection Quilt Blocks by Moda and gives the specifics for her pillow on her blog.
I love the close-up shot Nedra sent along, too!
And finally, Trish made this gorgeous scrappy version! I love her idea of making each half-hexie from two different fabrics!
You can find Lori's "Hexie Half" ruler sets here.
On just another note. I've been using Google Reader for years and haven't yet decided between Bloglovin or Feedly to keep up with the blogs I follow. If you've decided to switch to Bloglovin, here is the code to add my blog. I also have the "Follow by E-mail" option in my right side bar if you'd like to follow that way.
