Happy October First!

Happy October first! And happy Schnibbles parade day!  To start off, I just had to share one of Carrie's "Full House" quilts (photo from Carrie's blog). I am seriously in love with this quilt.  It's made with her Nine Dots fabric; the quilting is absolutely stunning as well. This project is on my "have to do soon" list!  Okay...on with the parade.  This month was "free choice," and there are some fun quilts here and over at Sinta's blog.

Allison made "Fanfare" using Central Park.

Carol (no blog), McGuffey using Park Avenue.

Carol, Two Bits using Circa 1934.

Dorothy, Scratch using Amelia.

Edith, Roobios using Jo Morton fabrics.

Joyce, "Nash"

Kay (no blog), "Picnic" using Mary Engelbreit fabrics.

Diana (no blog), "Summer Day"

Dortha (no blog), "X-Rated" using Summer Breeze.

LeAnn, A Little Bit Country

Oh, and after you stop by Sinta's parade...hop over to this post...she has a little giveaway going on for her birthday (by the way, it's Carrie's birthday today too)!

If you are wondering about more Schnibbles and parades...Next month we will post a link to anyone who creates a "year of projects" post (please post before November 1st and send us your links).   Also, Sinta and I have decided we'd love to do another year of Schnibbles...are you interested?  We'd love some feedback!  We are planning on beginning again in January if everyone would like to continue!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Oh, and Happy October first...just had to say it again...now that it's October I really have hope for cooler temperatures!

The quilts look great! I am getting back into quilting now that I have a room to dedicate to it. These would be the perfect size of quilt to learn to do free motion quilting on. I would love to join you for a year of Schnibbles!

Lovely quilts - what a great way to start October. (While I'm sitting in my bed at 5 in the evening drinking my warm coffee - it's cold outside!) Woohoo! I love October!

Happy Stitching!!!

I would love to participate..would also love it if I knew what pattern was going to be up about a month and a half in advance...I have to order my patterns and I'm usually finished about 2 or 3 days too late for the parade. Although I do have a few more Schnibbles thanks to Thelma! :)

Once again an amazing parade! Carrie really inspires to so many different versions!
This is part of my comment on Sinta's blog:
'I would love to join another year of Schnibbles, but maybe this time with some smaller projects, as 2 years of Schnibbles have given me loads of small quilts. But like this year, I didn't join all the months, so maybe that will be an option for me.'
Thank you Sherri, Sinta, Carrie and all the ladies who made all those great prizes possible for another year of fun and inspiration!

I enjoyed the parade and actually got to participate this month! I'd love to join in on another year but left a thoughtful comment in Sinta's comments section...I'm sure she will tell you my thoughts. They are positive...LOL

I commented on Sinta's blog how much I'd love it if you do another year. I just never got any done this year and now I'm soooo ready to start! And it would be fun to make quilts from her Schinbbles books besides from individual patterns. (I forgot to tell Sinta that part.)

Yes, please do another year! I missed last year's but have been inspired by you folks and am now quilting my first schnibble, cutting and sewing my second, and purchasing fabric for my third...so I would love to join a group in the new year! The parade of schnibbles is amazing...well done to all you folks!
Cheers!

I'm interested! I would like to improve my piecing skills and would be a wonderful exercise. How does it work? Do you decide which pattern in advance?
