Honeycomb and George

The pattern for next month's parade will be "Honeycomb" by Carrie Nelson of Miss Rosie's Quilt Company.  "Honeycomb" is a hexagon quilt that doesn't require any set-in seams--and it's a lot of fun!  You can see from the picture above that I'm not quite finished; I'm using Strawberry Fields and really love it so far, though.  Plus, it's going together a lot more quickly than I thought it would!  I can't wait to see all of the "Honeycomb" quilts that will be in next month's parade!

For this month, though, "George" is the Schnibbles pattern for our parade. Carol sent this photo of her version of "George" using 30's reproduction fabrics.

Allison sent this fun version, made with Hideaway!

This "George" is from another Carol (no blog) who used Java by Deb Strain for her quilt!

I love this Mill House Inn version made by Diana.

And this fun red and aqua version was sent in by Dorothy.

Edith used Jo Morton scraps to make her version of "George."

And finally, Eileen sent in this version.  Don't forget to visit Sinta's blog to see the other great versions of this fun pattern.

I like the Mill House Inn version since it is Moda and floral. The turquoise and red make a great color combo,

Thanks for doing the parade each month, I look forward to it. I got my George done in the nick of time and didn't know if you needed our addresses for the prizes? It was so sweet of Carrie!
