Checking In

Things are coming together over here...literally! Jelly Rolls and Layer Cakes have quickly become quilts! I've been sewing with some of this and some of this...and I think I might have mentioned this before, but I'm smitten by both! I've got one quilt here to finish up (it's about at the half-way point), and another on the way--and then my market sewing will be complete!  I did get to Joann's the other day with three coupons to pick up some DS yardage for a back, border and binding.  Guess I'm a blue/green girl when it comes to Denyse's fabrics!

I already have a design in mind...I'll be cutting into this right after market!

For now, I'm going to take a day off, enjoy Easter, and hopefully find a little time to enjoy this amazing book I won from Sarah and Rita during Sarah's blog hop--thanks Sarah and Rita!

PS.  Congrats to Amy who had the lucky number for the giveaway from Fashionable Fabrics--you've won the gift certificate!

I can't wait to see what you made with Ruby and Terrain. I am not completely sold on the entire Terrain line yet (those purples make me nervous) so am anxious to see it in action.

That book looks really interesting and includes pattern sheets? I'll have to visit my LQS to try to find a copy. You're really lucky to have won! Can't wait to see what's in store for those beautiful fabrics.
