Strawberries, Sewing, and Stars

I've been sewing with Strawberry Fields--seriously, I love this fabric!  It's the kind of fabric collection that makes you want to re-make half of your quilts so they can be made out of Strawberry Fields too!

This was a little project for Joanna.  I hope to be able to share soon!

I've also been making some little sewing accessory bags...

I think the backs are pretty cute, too!  I used Bonnie's pattern along with Kim's extra directions.

And I've been working on "Eventide." I have 10 completed Ohio Stars and a whole lot of blocks in various stages of completion! Some of the ones pictured might end up on the back...I don't like the ones where I used a dark for my fourth fabric in the quarter-triangle blocks--glad I have a lot of fabric to choose from!

I love this design and the subtle patterns that come into play as you change and re-arrange the blocks.  Thelma posted an update on everyone's progress for this sew-along today...it's always fun to see the other quilts coming together as well!

Oh, and don't forget about the "Just One Star" blocks...yesterday I saw the cutest ones over at Pam and Monica's--think I need to make a few more!  Have a sew wonderful day!

And Eventide, oh my gosh! Those are really gorgeous blocks. I love the fabrics you're using. But then you know how fond I am of brown. :-)
