Tuesday Thoughts

This is what I wore to school on election day 1972! I brought it down from the attic this morning and carefully ironed it using my "Best Press" cherry blossom starch; what a lot of memories it brought back. I've never been able to give this away--I remember wearing a ruffly white blouse under this vest, although I can't remember what kind of skirt I wore with it (I'm sure I wore a skirt, I wore dresses nearly every day back then)!
And while I know I should be thinking of Mr. Turkey and pumpkins and fall...

I just can't wait to start showing you some of these! By the way, when can I start posting my Christmas quilts?

Funny the things we save. You can show your Christmas quilts whenever you want. I was in JoAnns yesterday and they were already playing Christmas music. Christmas music definitely should not start until after Thanksgiving. :o)

The thanksgiving things are great. That vest though - priceless! You are so lucky to have kept it. I would have worn it all day yesterday. Or at least laid it out somewhere. Thanks for sharing it. It is amazing.
