It sure has been a great feeling to be able to sew! Everything was pretty hectic just before market, so I got behind on a few of my works in progress. This week’s plan is to play catch up. First, I tackled my Fat Quarter Shop Snapshots quilt along blocks.
I had fallen behind on block 4, the Puppy Love block, and block 5, the Kindred Kitchen block.
I love how the puppy block turned out. I’ll add buttons for his eyes after my quilt is finished and quilted.
And the apron block…well it just might be my favorite right now…it reminds me of my grandmother who always wore aprons in the kitchen!
I’m getting quite a collection of these blocks (and I am actually finished with block 6 now as well, so I won’t be behind for June)!
You can visit the Snapshots Quilt Along main page here where you’ll find links to pdf patterns for the first five blocks. You can also find links there to video tutorials with sewing construction hints.
And…here is a list of the other bloggers participating in the quilt along!
Bonnie Olaveson of Cotton Way
Pat Sloan of The Voice of Quilting
Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet
Natalia Bonner of Piece N Quilt
Greg Jones of Grey Dogwood Studios
Jessie Fincham of Messy Jesse
Sondra Davison of Out of the Blue Quilts
Angie Wilson of Gnome Angel
I’ll be back soon with more of my works in progress sewing! Thanks so much for stopping by!
