Just a few things I’ve been working on this week…first of all, I couldn’t stop working on the hexies…I finished every one I’d prepared!
And then I finished a few more!
I’ve really filled up my storage box, so now I need to decide if I should start piecing hexie flowers…or buy a bigger box!
I have a couple of quilts to bind in the next couple of days…first my Christmas Farmer’s Wife quilt…
(Instagrammed Photo)
And another Christmas quilt that I can’t share just yet.
With all of my recent “works-in-progress” finishes over the last few weeks I’m itching to start a new project…soon!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Not only will those hexies make a pretty project they are just as pretty stacked in the box. Like art.

Ok, Sherri! I'm a machine stitching gal… it it can be done by machine, I can do it… not much of a by hand gal. But you talked me into it! I bought the hexie die for my Go! and ordered papers from your suggested site… wish me luck!! You can't just leave those hexies in that box… ya gotta show us the next step!!

Ooooh, I want to see those hexies in action! I've been debating whether to start a hexie project myself — just can't decide. There's so much inspiration out there that it's confusing me!!!

I love looking at all your Hexies. I ordered the hexie die and various supplies yesterday to be able to make these before we go on our vacation to take with me. I'm just so excited!!!

Wow – you are soo productive! Cannot wait to see the reveals! The hexies look great – can't wait to see how the flowers are going to look – will they be scrappy or done in same color ranges?

I need to come and find you on IG (what's your "handle"?), as it's about the only way I've been keeping up with my favorite quilters lately.
Got the grading done, so can do some blog reading and lo! and behold! while I was out being a teacher, you finished up your Christmas Farmer's wife. Congratulations!!! (I need to keep reading backwards to see more of it.)
I know you are a teacher too, so I don't know how you keep up with everything. A special brew? Being younger? Just a lot of energy? At any rate, it's always a treat to stop by your blog.
And those hexies are looking really fine.

I just found your site and was reading through your posts. Please tell me what are those clips you've got holding the binding on the quilt? I've not seen them before and would love to find some as it would be so much easier than pinning the binding all the way around. BTW, I love your site and will be back to visit often.
