Happy September….September always means cooler weather and the return of my favorite season! And yes, the “Canasta” parade is coming…just not until Tuesday, September 3rd. Sinta and I have received a lot of beautiful Canasta quilt photos and can’t wait to share them–we’ve both just been super busy this weekend with family and deadlines…and well…the whole holiday weekend thing. So come back on Tuesday for the parade!
One thing that has been keeping me busy this weekend is Gracie Girl, my friend Lori’s new fabric collection. I’m sewing up one of her new patterns for her and have fallen head over heels with this fabric. You’ll be seeing some sneak peeks of her new quilt and some of my projects with this fabric soon!
Also, congratulations to Thimbleanna who is the winner of the Fashionable Fabrics Giveaway!
Have a great day–thanks so much for stopping by!

I wasn't able to get my Canasta quilt done before the end of August. When I saw Sinta's post I thought I might still be able to do it. But I thought the parade day was tomorrow and I simply had too much to do to get it done this evening. Maybe I still can be in the parade if I'm able to finish it tomorrow.
