Happy Monday! Things here have been busy, but busy in the best way! I’ve been working on the last of the market projects and spent most of the weekend finishing up blocks for one of my favorites…sewing the blocks together this week will be first priority.
Since I can’t share what I’ve been working on I thought I’d start off the week
with some of my favorite photos of my earlier quilt patterns. First (above) is “Modern Indian Summer” from my second book, C&T Publishing Fresh Family Traditions: 18 Heirloom Quilts for a New Generation. This pattern is also available now as a single pattern (in my Etsy shop).
Another quilt favorite of mine from the same book is “Sassy” which is a fast and fun quilt using a charm pack and a jelly roll.
“Stars over Iowa” is also from Fresh Family Traditions…this is a favorite…
And “Vintage Snowballs,” a layer cake quilt is from my first book, A Quilting Life: Creating a Handmade Home.
One of my first single patterns (and still a favorite pattern) is my “Shine” quilt (this pattern and a mini version are both available in my Etsy shop).
PS Brooke at Lady Belle is offering 15% off all bundles through tonight at midnight Central time (prices are already marked).
Thanks so much for stopping by…stay tuned…the first sneak peeks of our new fabric are coming this week!

Great quilts! I tend to forget the simple elegance of prints set with ivory background. Thanks for reminding me.

Love them all! You know what? You could make a sew-along for a quilt from your books in summer. Wouldn't that be fun?

All these quilts are beautiful Sherri! I loved Fresh Family Traditions and there were a whole lot of quilts I want to make from the book!

I love your blog and your quilts! I just bought the Modern Minis magazine with your 'Summer Spinner' quilt in it and love your fabric selections. Could you please let me know what fabric line you used? I just love the combination of fabrics you used! Thanks so much.

the quilts are beautiful Sherri. 🙂 Hope your sewing goes well and quickly!! Can't wait to see what the new line looks like!!! And I think the comment from Hildy is a great idea: a sew along with one of the quilts from your book. I could make it in your new fabric!! Can't tell I'm waiting with bated breath for a view of it! 😀 Hugs, H

Sherri:
I love your blog, and have truly enjoyed following you. However, a problem has popped up that is driving me crazy, and I am sadly going to have to unfollow you. The problem (I think) is your pop-ups. Every time (and I mean EVERY time) your blog appears on my bloglovin' page, my computer freezes — as in NOTHING works — for 2-3 minutes; 2-3 actual minutes! And, it drives me nuts to have to sit here, doing nothing, while I wait for it.
The only difference, as far as I can tell, between your blog and the others is the pop-ups.
I'm writing this just to let you know what is happening. I don't know if others are experiencing this same problem; if they are, you may be losing other readers because of something your are not aware of. Hopefully, you may find the source of the problem, and get it fixed.
I will miss you!
