Hello! I’m excited to share my October Sew Sampler Box with you today…when I opened it I was greeted with this fun preview of what was inside…
It left me guessing as to what was inside…and this month’s box (as they
always are) is a good one! Let me share what is inside…
First of all there is a cute little sewing kit that stays put in a nice zippered case. This is perfect. I actually think I’m going to put it in my car. There is also a collapsible bin perfect for taking to retreats and such for your scraps. Or use it at your workstation or near the sewing machine. I’ll be making good use of this. A package of something I’ve been wanting to try..Poke-A-Dots is also included. These little sticky dots take the place of a thimble and protect your fingers when stitching.
And then…there is the fabric…eight fat quarters of Tula Pink’s recent collection, Spirit Animal (this grouping is the Mesa Valley Spirit Animal collection, a Fat Quarter Shop exclusive). I’m really excited to get this. I had looked at it on-line, but hadn’t yet viewed it in person. The colors arestunningly beautiful and will make a great addition to my stash! There is a pattern included if you want to use the fabric right away, and there is also a basket block pattern included in each box. Lot’s of fun things, and the surprise aspect is so much fun!
I know November’s box will be amazing…sign up here by November 12th here to make sure you get in on the fun!

Last month box was so great (just can't bet Moda B&C) and now this. Don't get me wrong I like Tula Pink but I don't get why they always pick yellow and purple as colors. I'm okay in small amounts but almost all boxes this year there was a yellow fabric it's just too much. And purple? That's a color I can totally live without. So sad that the box is again not good.
Hope you have a wonderful time at Market and if you really love me you will never make a purple fabric.

Love purple. Didn't like the fishy stuff a couple months ago. Moral: hard to please everyone every time. But, Sherri, your comment about knowing November is going to be amazing is intriguing-could we (fingers crossed) be getting some of your beautiful Front Porch????
