Hello friends! Today I’m sharing my first official Christmas finish of the season…my Hometown Mini quilt! This fun quilt goes together quickly. It finishes at approximately 18″ x 18″ and so works well as a mini wall hanging, a table topper, or even a pillow top!
You might recall that I just recently finished making my full size
Hometown quilt pattern in these same Christmas fabrics (see it here). Well, after sending the bigger quilt off to be quilted I started thinking that a mini version was definitely in order. I had plenty of scraps left over and had the mini finished and in the mail to be quilted the next day!
I know Thanksgiving hasn’t even arrived yet, but I can hardly wait to use this in my decorating this year! The blocks are small and very cute…a whimsical design by Kaitlyn finished it off perfectly.
As you might have guessed, the larger quilt came back with the mini…I’ll be sewing the binding on tonight! Of course I’ll share more pictures of this one when it’s completely finished.
If you think you might want to make a mini version of Hometown…my Hometown Mini quilt pattern is available now in my Etsy shop…in Paper and PDF format…happy quilting!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

So, so cute Sherri. I love the fabric of the car with the tree on top. Takes me back to when I was a kid. I will be downloading pattern today. Thanks.
