Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 461: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a roundup of inspiration I’ve found from around the internet this week. Since we just shared a new fabric collection yesterday (Coastal Breeze, shipping in May 2027), I’ll also be using photos of those fabrics and projects for this post. (The final two photos on this page are two of my favorites of this collection).
It’s always so much fun sharing a new collection, and this one was extra special since it is number 25 for us! And even though my pattern projects and quilts are all finished…I’m starting some new ones today. This has been so happy and fun and peaceful to sew with. 2. Recipes to Try
Just two this week! I love Chicken Piccata and can’t wait to try this Chicken Piccata Recipe! I’m also looking forward to trying this Slow Cooker Creamy Tomato Soup. I’m also trying a new chili recipe and protein bar recipe from a friend–I’ll see if I can share them with you next week!
3. Quilt + Sew
First, I have some Pumpkin Needle Minders in the shop–these darling enamel minders were designed by Chelsi and were included in the Fat Quarter Shop September Sew Sampler Box. But there are a few available to purchase here!

We shared each of the prints in a post/video yesterday, and we’ll also be sharing more next week on our podcast and in another special video. 4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
I really did enjoy this discussion of “Brain Rot” and how we can effectively counteract it from the Deep Questions podcast. Also, I’ve been distracted by the Emma M. Lion novels, but am going to start this book soon!
5. Midsummer Project Package Pre-Orders Open Now
Now that our Birch & Willow project packages have shipped (you might find a few extras available here), it’s time for pre-orders for our Midsummer Project Packages. These packages will ship in January 2027 and include patterns for 3 projects (one is a smaller project) and fun notions and surprises that coordinate with the group.
