Since we just shared a new fabric collection yesterday, I’m punctuating this post with photos of the collection + a couple of quilt pics. And there ended up being some photos of me taken even though I wasn’t planning on it 🙂 Glad I had on a shirt that matched my fabric, lol!

Saturday Seven 440: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This was one of my favorite articles this week–I love the six questions the author asks herself every Sunday to keep her life genuinely simple. And this post also has a lot of great ideas for simple things to do now to feel better by summer.
2. Recipes to Try
This Pineapple Salsa looks so good! I have to try it soon. I also want to make these Ham and Cheese Sliders. And finally, this roundup of fun summer drinks (non-alcoholic) is so good!
3. Quilt + Sew
We were so happy to finally be able to begin sharing our Midsummer collection with everyone yesterday. This collection is showing to shops now for ordering and will arrive in stores in December 2026! While the fabrics aren’t yet available, I’ve got a terrific sale right now for the patterns (which are available)! 4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
There are so many recommendations right now. I’ll just share a couple: first, Big Time by Laura Vanderkam is an excellent book. And she will be on our podcast Monday morning. Pre-order her book here if you haven’t yet–I absolutely loved it. And find ideas for building cognitive fitness from this week’s episode from Cal Newport.
5. Sewcialites 3 Block
I had fun making this week’s Sewcialites 3 block pictured above, bottom. This one is block 11, Snuggle Patch, from Edyta Sitar. I used fabrics from our Strawberry Lemonade collection and one piece from our upcoming Midsummer group! Next week I’ll go back to my regular Friday sharing of the Sewcialites blocks…we were excited to share Midsummer yesterday on its official release day!
