Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 370: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post. I hope you’ll find a variety of inspiration for your weekend and the week ahead! I was able to do a little traveling this before, during and after the Christmas holiday and have a few pictures here for you from those trips. We took a little pre-Christmas trip to southern California and then traveled north to spend Christmas with our youngest. We were blessed with two easy days of traveling and two not-so-easy trips! But it was fun to experience the holidays in two different climates, and of course, it’s great to be home now to get ready for the new year!

Saturday Seven 370: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
I loved this post with simple ideas to make big changes. And this post is similar…so between the two articles, there are lots of simple ideas for the new year! Also, if you have time to spend a whole day for a reset–here is an hour-by-hour schedule. And finally, here are 25 Ideas for New Year’s Resolutions.
2. Recipes to Try
This Cowboy Christmas Breakfast Casserole looks delicious–I’m going to make it for our New Year’s Day Brunch. And this Easy Winter Fruit Salad looks like a refreshing addition to brunch! Finally, here is an Easy Chicken Parmesan recipe idea.
3. Quilt + Sew
First–fun news! You can now give gift subscriptions for the Fat Quarter Shop Sew Sampler boxes! Find the details here. And Kimberly just shared her 2025 scrap quilt project–it’s a good one! And if you’re looking for a fun Christmas project to start sewing now for next year, the Vintage Christmas Quilt Along is just beginning. Find the book you need to sew along here. I’m going to use scraps from a variety of my collections, but you can also find a kit for this sew along here.
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
This episode of Best Laid Plans has lots of ideas for setting up your planner for the new year. And this book just arrived last night–I’m loving it and plan to gift several copies in 2025!
5. Family Favorites Sew Along Month 3
It’s time to make a new pair of blocks for our Family Favorites Sew Along featuring the Brightly Sampler from our book (you do need the book to sew along). Watch this month’s video above to see my blocks and find all of the details on this sew along from this post.
6. New Year…Time to Organize!
