Hello and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and got to do a little sewing.
I have some fun events coming up over the next few months and thought I’d share them in case you are in the event areas and are interested in attending.
First up is my Mahalo class which I’ll be teaching at Quilted Works in St.
George, Utah on Saturday, December 3rd. This is a terrific class where you’ll learn time-saving techniques for cuting and piecing this fun quilt. You have the option of putting your quilt together using machine curved piecing or by hand or machine applique’. What’s more, you’ll learn to use some wonderful tools to make cutting this quilt a breeze. You can find all of the details about this class here.
3 Holly’s Winter Retreat
If
you’re looking for a fun getaway/retreat after the holidays (when you
really deserve to do something just for you)….please join me at the 3
Holly’s Winter Retreat sponsored by Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe of West Linn, Oregon at
The Grand at Bridgeport Hotel January 6th through 8th 2017! There will
be three days of fun filled classes with plenty
of time to sew your own projects! The retreat package includes 3
project kits, two meals each day (with one evening meal at Hollyhill
Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile) and VIP access to the event room. Jan is
an event planner extraordinaire, and I know this will be the perfect
opportunity for you to sew, relax, and be pampered after the busy
holiday season!
For more information on this fun event, see the 3 Holly’s Winter Retreat page here.
Quilt Retreat at Quilter’s Lodge
From January 12th through January 14th I’ll be teaching two classes and giving a trunk show at the Quilter’s Lodge in Draper, Utah. This is sure to be another fun event with amazing and luxurious accommodations and a quilt shop built in on the main floor! The sewing rooms have spacious sewing and cutting tables, ironing stations, and several full size design walls. There are a variety of prices for this event depending on whether you book a private room or come along with friends and book one of the shared rooms. You can find all of the information about this event here.
PS…thanks so much to Quilted Works for sending me these photos they took of my original Mahalo quilt…I just love the cute house they were able to use for photography and think it’s the perfect setting for my quilt!
Thanks so very much for stopping by!

Mahalo is a beautiful quilt. I'm in the process of finishing your little embroidered snowman. He'll look so cute somewhere in the house!
