Hello and happy Monday! Exciting new things are coming tomorrow…and today I have the third block in my 2017 Quilting Life Mystery Block of the Month!
I had a lot of fun with this one…the main thing to make sure of when choosing
your fabrics is to make sure there is a good amount of contrast between fabric 1 and fabric 2 and your background. I made my initial test block with a fabric 2 fabric that just didn’t give enough contrast so had to re-make my flying geese units.
I again have the instructions for the 12″ and 6″ finished blocks included on the PDF.
One note: last month there was an error in the patterns that were downloaded in the first few hours. It was corrected quickly, but if you haven’t sewn your February block yet, double check to make sure you have the corrected pattern (the error was only for the 6″ block size).
I’ve got the two settings designed for both block sizes and will be giving all of the details for all four of those versions either later this month or along with the April blocks.
Go here to download the free PDF for this block in 6″ and 12″ sizes!
I’ll be back tomorrow to begin introducing Creekside…and the new patterns! Thanks so much for stopping by!
