Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing my Quilt Works in Progress May 2024 projects and video. I’ve actually been doing quite a bit of behind the scenes sewing this month, but I do have some really fun things to share including a project that has been in my cupboard for more than 20 years–and all I have left now is to bind it! Keep reading for all of the details and for the video sharing of all of these projects.

New Pouch Finish
I do love sewing bags and pouches, and I had been wanting to try the Brickyard Double Zip Pouch pattern for some time. I took a few hours on a Saturday recently to make myself this fun pouch with our Laguna Sunrise fabrics. I love the size and how it turned out with these fabrics!
Quilt Blocks: Scrappy Half-Square Triangles + Moda Blockheads 5
I’ve been keeping up with my new Scrappy Half-Square Triangles quilt and also continuing to sew the Moda Blockheads 5 blocks. (I did miss a couple of the foundation paper-pieced blocks and am not sure if I’ll eventually make them or add others in their place. But I loved making the most recent strip-pieced diamond star shared by Lissa Alexander.
Denim Quilt: My Oldest Work in Progress
This project is an oldie but a goodie! We shared a little about my friend’s husband’s denim quilts on the podcast a month or so ago. And at the time I had no idea that I would have the chance to finally get my gifted denim quilt top quilted and ready for binding. You’ll have to watch the video for all of the fun details on this project. I’ll be making the binding this weekend and getting it finally completely finished!

I hope that you all taped Chelsi re-arranging your fabric in order on the shelf. That’s something I could watch all day. LOL Seriously though, its fun to watch a clean up, tidy, or re-arrange because it does give ideas.
