Happy Thursday (or late Wednesday night if you’re reading this right after I post)! The last eight days have been a whirlwind…but a good one! I returned late last night from quilt market and a little mini vacation after market, and I’m excited to share my quilt market photos. I think it will take about three posts…so here goes!
It takes a good part of the day to travel from Las Vegas to Minnesota, so we spent day one traveling and getting settled in. But on day two we were ready to work and spent the morning putting our booth together. One of our quilts, “Star Bright” was hung in the Moda booth directly across from our booth…it was so fun to be able to look at it each day!
After booth set up there were meetings and then the Moda Designer Schoolhouse. Here we are in the hall having fun before we went in.
During the Schoolhouse each designer presented the blocks they had pieced and shared a little bit about their new collection…I’ll share more on this later this fall when there will be a blog hop and patterns available.
And here are Chelsi and I in our finished booth…ready to start the day!
I’ll share all of the Moda designer booths in my next post, but I have to share two special ladies today. Our booth was right in between the designer booths of two amazing women. We had so much fun getting to know them and learning from them. They were amazing, and we couldn’t have considered ourselves more lucky than to be where we were (although we would have loved being anywhere in the Moda rows…everyone really is incredibly nice). Jan Patek was on one side of us…
And Deb Strain was on the other side…see, I told you we had great neighbors!
And here is one more shot of the booth…all of our quilts and projects worked perfectly!
I’ll be back tomorrow with part 2…and I’ll catch up on emails asap!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
